Man Accused of funding ISIS to be transferred to New York

The man accused of supporting and funding ISIS, a foreign terrorist organization, will be transferred to New York. A federal judge in Jacksonville approved the transfer on Abror Habibov, 30, late Tuesday.

Habibov and two foreign nationals, who were arrested last week, will face prosecution in New York, for funding and supporting the terrorist group. Habibov was arrested last Wednesday in Jacksonville. He runs a mobile repair kiosk at the Orange Park Mall in the city.

According to the reports, Habibov is a Uzbekistan citizen. He came to the United States legally, but he overstayed his visa here.

During the hearing in Jacksonville, he was brought to the court in shackles on his hands and legs. He was wearing jeans and a jacket. He used an Uzbek translator during the hearing.

The prosecutor had to prove his identity in the court, that he was the same man who was charged with aiding the terrorist and providing them with material support. He admitted that he was the same man in the complaint, but did not admit committing the crime.

Habibov waived his preliminary hearing in Jacksonville. He said that he wanted to be in New York. The Judge handed over his custody to the U.S. Marshal so that they could take him to New York for the hearing.
